T. Efficient Heating
and Ventilation

A very sensible and simple combination of proven technologies has created a home with all major living spaces individually temperature controlled. By using free solar energy, fewer resources are needed to heat the home. A hydronic heating system consists of a highly efficient gas, on-demand, tankless water heater that can supply both domestic hot water and heating needs. The hot water is distributed to in-wall fan units (mini-heat exchangers) that heat the rooms. A central control system in major rooms senses when a room needs heat. The mechanical ventilation system that keeps the air fresh, controls moisture levels, and is designed to transfer 80% of the heat from the air leaving the home to the fresh air coming in. No air-conditioning is required, because super insulation, ventilation will help keep the house comfortable.
