Pond Ice is No Skating Rink

Frozen storm water ponds at Issaquah Highlands provide a tempting skating or sliding opportunity, however, such ice is very dangerous. Not only may it be too thin to support people, the constantly changing water levels of our ponds may leave just thin air beneath the ice. Stay safe – keep children and pets off the ponds, frozen or not. Teach your children that storm water ponds are not to be played on or around.

Happy New Year!

Please see www.ihwebsite.com and your monthly Connections newspaper for more details on what’s happening in our community!
