Dear Homeowners:
I have recently received some negative feedback regarding the early holiday lighting in Grand Ridge Plaza, Park Drive and Village Green Park. We started the lighting project earlier than normal this year for several reasons. Last year we experienced multiple problems with the electrical outlets in the tree wells and we were hit hard by vandalism to the outlets. The IHCA maintenance department is working very hard to upgrade all of the electrical outlets in the trees wells in preparation for this holiday season. Due to the scope of the project we needed to start earlier than normal this year to coincide with the lighting vendor, electricians and the Grand Ridge Plaza tree lighting ceremony.
The Grand Ridge Plaza special event begins at 7 pm this Saturday, November 19 at the Plaza.
The lights are currently on during the day because we are still working out the electrical issues and want to ensure everything is in good working order. Once all issues are resolved the holiday lighting will be placed on a timer and set to come on at dusk.
We hope that our efforts will be appreciated and that next year we will not have to start so early.
Happy Holiday Everyone. Peace on Earth
