A club for kids with special needs focused on acceptance and inclusion. A safe and fun place where kids can be themselves.
2018-19 Schedule
September 13 – Zumbini
Natalia Santi, Zumbini instructor, will combine music, dance and educational tools to make our members bond and have fun together.
October 11 – Move & Grow
Susan Creighton will teach us how through the language of music and movement, we can build connections, strengthen a sense of belonging , and have a great time.
November 8 – Gobble, Gobble!
We will gather together to give thanks and to celebrate Thanksgiving as a group. Activities, crafts, music and games.
December 13 – Orchestra & Giving Back
We will have the visit of an orchestra! And we will be making care packages for the homeless. Please help us collecting personal hygiene products as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, etc.
January 10 – Mosaics
Local mosaic artist Cheryl Smith will teach our members the beauty and benefit of using recycled glass to create mosaics. The group will create a piece that will be donated to Blakely Hall.
March 14 – Mad Science Show
Members will be dazzled by the impressive science demonstrations in this spectacular show. Ever take a bubble shower? Here’s your chance!
April 11 – Bend, Stretch & Play
We will enjoy a relaxing meeting with the visit of Nicole Koleshis, who is a yoga teacher consultant and occupational therapist.
May 9 – Painting Away
We will have the visit of Marcela Ferioli from With Your Hands who will give our members a painting and sensory art class. Let’s enjoy together this creative method of expression!
June 13 – Dance Party
