Highlands Council has exciting news! With the continuous expansion of programming within Blakely Hall, we are always striving to best serve our community needs.
We are excited to share with you that the Blakely Hall conference room will be remodeled so that, in addition to meetings and small gatherings, it can also function as a community art-making space!
The Blakely Hall kitchen is also getting a much needed facelift, with new countertops and re-stained flooring.
The renovation is scheduled for the week of January 8th – 12th with time reserved on the 13th and 14th for completion if needed.
What this means to you:
- There will be no access to the Blakely Hall conference room or kitchen for the week of remodel.
- Blakely Hall, Highlands Council and HFN offices are expected to be open normal hours while the renovations take place.
- Some clubs and groups will not meeting next week or are meeting at a different location. Please check the online event calendar for cancellations and updates.
We can’t wait to share this incredible transformation with the community soon!
Highlands Council wishes to think the City of Issaquah for funding a portion of the conference room renovation through a community grant.
