Development Community Conference – Shelter Holdings

City of Issaquah Community Conference for Development Along 9^th Ave NE and Discovery Drive

Thursday, August 15, 2019, 7:00pm at Council Chambers

All are welcome to provide input regarding a preliminary plat application by Issaquah Highlands landowner and developer, Shelter Holdings, for their development called High Street Collection. This application proposes to divide their 20+ acres into 5 blocks, each with 2 lots. Over 1.8M square feet of development is allowed on this land.

The Community Conference is an informal meeting for the public, City of Issaquah Development Commission, City staff and the applicant/developer to get together to discuss the developer’s plans.

Details can be found on the city website. Topics of interest are how the city blocks would be configured and the street grid connections. Also, subdividing the lots could facilitate phased development.

Comments can be provided up to and during the Community Conference. Follow link above for contact information. Public comments will be included in a Staff Report that accompanies the application when it goes before the Hearing Examiner for review and final decision. A public hearing will be part of the Hearing Examiner process.
