The Highlands Youth (HY) Advisory Board is introducing a new program designed by youth, for youth to gain a better understanding of what it’s like to volunteer for community events in Issaquah Highlands. We hope the Mentor Program will allow middle and high schoolers to experience planning and executing events like Treats & Tails or Global Grub & Groove.
Members of the Mentor Program will get exclusive first privileges of volunteer information and preferences during our events. They will also have the opportunity to shadow a HY board member, and see what they do during events that we host.
