In honor of school starting up again, a special Story Stroll is being hosted at Village Green Park in Issaquah Highlands.
The Story Stroll—hosted by Highlands Council and the Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA)—features “We Are All Connected,” written by Gabi Garcia and illustrated by Natalie Jimenez Osorio. The book shares a positive message about the power of empathy, kindness and respect.
Start your reading journey at the front of Village Green Park and follow the story around the circle. Stop by the Free Little Art Gallery to check out some artwork or find a new book at the Little Free Library along the way.
Story Stroll takes about 15 minutes. This activity is a creative way for children and adults to enjoy reading while spending time outdoors. The stroll is self-guided and open to the public at any time.
