Our youth are often engaged and invested in structures that run counter to the development of resilience and a growth mindset. Many young people are discovering they lack the flexibility and malleability they need to manage adversity.
Resilience is the ability to achieve in the face of adversity: to bend, rather than break. In this workshop, award winning speaker and youth advocate, Jerry Blackburn, will discuss how young people can become more resilient and the obstacles that get in their way. We’ll explore how our differences, struggles and investments can make us more gracious and productive participants in these complex times.
This FREE workshop is designed for students, parents, educators and the community at large.
