In partnership with Blakely Hall, Encompass is offering a four-week class for parents and their babies. Come join for an Infant Massage Class facilitated by Emily Arkus, certified instructor of infant massage and educator with Encompass NW. Infant massage has many benefits for a baby including supporting their development, bonding and attachment, and improving sleep quality. During the class, parents will learn massage strokes and touch relaxation, bonding techniques and ways to recognize their baby’s cues, how to ask permission and how doing so builds respect, and how to identify the best time for massage and ways to work it into their daily life.
Cost: $20 for the entire class. Scholarships available.
The class will be capped at 12 baby/caregiver dyads.
