Welcome to the Issaquah Media Club—a vibrant group for anyone 14 and up who loves diving into what they’re reading, watching, or listening to! This isn’t your average book club; we celebrate all kinds of media, from books and podcasts to movies and shows. Bring your unique take on your current favorites and get ready for lively, thoughtful conversations.

Our focus is on how you process the stories and ideas you love, making every meeting a journey of discovery. It’s the perfect way to connect with neighbors, spark new friendships, and uncover your next must-read, watch, or listen. Let’s explore the world of media together—your voice makes this club special!

🚗 There is street parking near the building.

🤝 We gather in the studio space at Blakely Hall. When entering through the front, walk past the kitchen to the back of the great hall, then enter the studio on the right. There will be a sign on the door.

🍕 You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks or something to share with the group. If we can get some sponsorships or if members want to donate funds, we’ll provide refreshments in the future.

📋 Our format is simple and casual. Each person gets 3-5 minutes of completely uninterrupted time to share what they’re reading, watching, or listening to as well as how they’re thinking about it. We then open up the floor for the rest of the group to ask questions for a few minutes before moving on to the next person.
