We’ve moved our annual Recipe for Hope fundraiser completely online, keeping in mind the health and safety of our community.
You won’t want to miss our engaging, fast-paced 1/2 hour program and even enjoy some mingling at virtual tables before and after if you’d like. Our theme this year – Compassion in Action – exemplifies how the compassion of others is the driving force behind everything we do. It is the compassion of our community that makes all of our work possible, positively impacting the lives of nearly 5,000 people each year. YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS RACHEL’S STORY about how our resources have helped her family. We hope that attending this event leaves you feeling encouraged and inspired as you, our partners and supporters, do for us everyday. Together, we can be resilient and we can minimize the impact of the pandemic on our Eastside communities.
Thank you to our generous donors and sponsors who helped us raise $178,000 through our Recipe for Hope events last year to ensure that families and individuals get their basic needs met. This year, our goal is to raise $200,000. This is a crucial time for so many experiencing loss of income, loss of medical benefits, increased medical bills, etc.. Please help us widen our support base by encouraging your family and friends to join you in supporting this worthwhile, impactful effort right from the comfort of their homes!
