Meet fellow seniors for casual social time every week. This week, we will meet at the bottom of the staircase mural on the corner of 10th Avenue NE and NE Ellis Drive.
A walk in the business district of Issaquah Highlands reveals art discoveries in many surprising places and forms. A staircase mural, architectural elements, patterns and color in nature, and public art as sculptures and traffic signal boxes are among the artworks to find in this area.
Learn how to see these art elements and find artistic inspiration on an easy, one-hour guided walk. The route is about 1.5 miles on paved pathways and sidewalks, with some slight uphill and downhill sections (but we won’t climb the staircase). The walk will be led by Janice King, a fiber artist and author of the local guidebook, Eastside Seattle Walks.
We hope to see you there!
