April Topic: Youth Travel Volunteering and Whale Watching in Baja Peninsula
Student travel programs are a fantastic way for middle and high school students to make new friends, see the world, and challenge themselves in unique ways. Jamie Rosen will share her adventures and experiences working with students from all over the country on programs in Costa Rica, Iceland, Ireland and the UK.
The second presentation will focus on the migration of Gray, Blue and Humpback whales. Hear stories and see amazing photos where these magnificent creatures breed and rear their young in the warm waters of Baja California peninsula.
The bulk of the evening will be unstructured, get-acquainted time so we can all share and learn about travel. Light snacks are provided but feel free to bring a beverage (perhaps a bottle of wine from your favorite country!) to enjoy.
