This week, the IHCA crew will replace plants in our medians along Park Drive in order to improve pedestrian crossing safety. The IHCA has long wanted to reduce the vegetation in planted medians along Park, especially at Grand Ridge Elementary, but also at other major pedestrian crossings. The required approval from the City of Issaquah came quickly as part of the bigger, ongoing traffic safety project in the Highlands.
Weather permitting, this project could be completed by the end of the week.
