An Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) Board of Directors nominating committee is reviewing statement of interest forms submitted by interested board candidates and will approve a formal slate of candidates at the board meeting on May 24. Approved nominees will be added to the final IHCA board elections ballot, available online on June 1, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. PDT through Vote HOA Now, a third-party, independent company contracted by IHCA.
About the Voting Process
Board voting will primarily be online using the same voting platform as in 2019 and 2020, Vote HOA Now. Paper ballots will be available by request only.
Postcards with your district voting website and unique registration code will be mailed the week of May 24. You will also start to receive emails regarding the online voting process on June 1. This information will be emailed to the email address listed on file with the IHCA. Please make sure we have the most updated email address for you. (Click here to email the IHCA with your updated information.) The registration code is tied to your property address and cannot be duplicated.
Each lot owner receives one vote for their respective board district. This year, each owner will have one additional vote for the At-Large District. If you own more than one property in Issaquah Highlands, you will be allowed to cast one vote per lot once registered online.
Included on this year’s ballot, homeowners will have the chance to vote on IRS Revenue Ruling 70-604, which allows the IHCA to carry over excess operating income, if any, to the following year. Click here to learn more >>
