Get Early Bird Tickets for Teen Singo Night!

All middle and high school students are invited to get together at Blakely Hall for Teen Singo Night, courtesy of the Highlands Youth (HY) Advisory Board! Come join us for a fun-filled evening of music bingo and snacks. Get ready to test your knowledge of popular songs and sing along to your favorite tunes with friends. Whether you’re a music aficionado or just looking for a good time, this event is perfect for you. Don’t miss out on the chance to win awesome prizes. Mark your calendars and get ready for a night of laughter and entertainment. Cost to attend is $10/student if purchased by Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. After that, tickets are $15/student. Tickets include Singo games, snacks, drinks, and prizes! This is a drop off event – no younger/older siblings or parents. We’ll have background-checked chaperones at the event. Attendees may be asked to show student ID. Get early bird tickets here.

Note: like traditional bingo, this game is based completely on luck – no music knowledge or other skills required. We’ll be playing music clips, so no singing required either, if you prefer not to sing along.

Sign Up for World Language Credit Test

Are you fluent in a language other than English? If you can speak, read, write and listen with understanding in another language, you may be able to take the World Language Credit Test and earn up to four credits for high school graduation. Students who earn high marks can also earn the Seal of Biliteracy, which appears on transcripts if earned.

The tests will be held on Nov. 6, Feb. 12 and April 23. Students must pay ahead of time and register for the test. The test is only open to Issaquah High School (IHS) students and will be offered again next school year. If you are interested in taking the world language competency test, please read the frequently asked questions and then fill out this form.

The Issaquah High School Girls Robotics Team placed second as captain of their alliance at the recent Girls Generation Competition. Issaquah Schools Foundation: Impact in Action

The Issaquah Schools Foundation invites all ISD parents and caregivers for a deeper dive into how donations are used to help address the growing challenge in meeting basic student needs in the district. Superintendent Tow-Yick and other ISD staff will highlight the growing financial challenges faced by so many families in ISD and the impact it can have on the well-being of students. It will be a great opportunity for donors to get a closer look at the positive impact they’ve had on students and for everyone to learn more about this important area of need. The meeting takes place on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6-7 p.m. at the ISD Administration Building (5150 220th Ave SE, Issaquah) in the boardroom. Refreshments will be provided. Please register here if you’re able to attend.
