The Mission of the HY Board is to unify Issaquah Highlands middle and high school students through meaningful and fun social experiences; creating lasting memories and building pride in our community. The HY will be overseen by the Trustees, and Highlands Council Director. The HY will advise the Trustees about policies and specific actions that may best serve the youth of our community.
HY meets monthly, led by Highlands Council’s Executive Director. Appointments to HY are made via an application and interview process each fall. If selected the student representative serves a 2-year term and may reapply at the end of each term as long as they are in good standing, until they graduate from high school.
