The Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) recently received some great feedback from a resident who contacted us using the new IHCA mobile app to ask the IHCA to put reflective strips on the community’s crosswalk flags. Done; flags with reflective tape on both sides will be at crosswalks with flag stands in the coming weeks.
Update on the city/IHCA project to install flashing crosswalk beacon signs on Northeast Park Drive at the Firehouse Park and Vista Trailhead crossings: The IHCA requested signage in this area changed out for new highly-reflective signage. The Issaquah Public Works Department has ordered the beacon lights; however, there are material and shipping delays.
Please keep up the feedback; we love hearing from our residents. How can IHCA help? Contact us at 425-427-9257, email asktheihca@ihcommunity.org, or contact us through the IHCA mobile app.
Sarah Hoey is the IHCA executive director.
