Home-Based Businesses Guidelines and Application
Before you can run a business out of your Issaquah Highlands home, you must obtain approval from the Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA), the Issaquah Highlands homeowners association, your condo board (if applicable), and/or city, county, or state agencies.
The IHCA may provide its immediate approval if the home business application has zero impact on its surroundings. This means your business would have little, if any, traffic and would not affect surrounding neighbors.
If your business is high impact, meaning clients would routinely come to your home, your business request will go out for public comment in official community media.
