Join us for a free showing of “Wonka” during our first-ever outdoor movie in Issaquah Highlands! The park will open with games, a magic show from Swendini (who you may know better as NBA Player Swen Nater), followed by the movie starting at 7 p.m. Concessions supporting youth programs in Issaquah Highlands will be available for purchase before and during the movie. Hot dogs for sale! Enjoy a cold treat from Issaquah Ice Cream Trike!

What to Expect

Park Opens at 5:30 p.m. –

• Find the perfect spot – reserve a space with your blanket and/or chairs. To help visibility for everyone, there will be a rope across the grass – any chairs must be placed behind the rope.
• Concessions open (see below for details).
• Enjoy a few activities for kids led by teens.

Magic Show at 6 p.m. –

Head to the side of the park opposite the movie screen for a 30-minute magic show by the Great Swendini to set the mood for the magic of Wonka! The Great Swendini is none other than Issaquah Highlands resident and former NBA player Swen Nater, now known for his magical talents as an entertainer.

Movie starts at 7 p.m. –

Enjoy the free showing of Wonka, the 2023 blockbuster staring Timothée Chalamet (view official movie trailer). The movie runs just under two hours, so we expect to finish at 9 p.m. Concessions will close at 8:30 p.m.

  • A limited-quantity custom wrapped Hershey Bar, which comes with a Golden Opportunity Ticket.
  • 60 available; 30 are winners!
  • Prizes include inflatable loungers (watch the movie in luxury), Sounders tickets, restaurant gift cards, Solo Stove Mesa, portable power packs and more!

Concessions accept credit cards and cash (change will be limited, so the exact amount is appreciated).
