As part of our ongoing playground improvement process, the IHCA Board of Directors has approved the funding for the Wisteria Park playground upgrades. Working with last year’s survey results from surrounding neighborhoods, we have curated a new play structure with a separate swing to fulfill the requested items as a result of the feedback.
The new playground equipment has been ordered in blue and yellow colors, and the shipment is expected to arrive in the next two months. The IHCA team will begin to remove the old equipment in the near future.
When we are ready to start the disassembly, we will put a notice out to the community. Please note that the entire park will be closed to the public during construction. Once the new equipment installation is complete, we will formally reopen it to the public and notify the community. We hope to have this all done by May, in time for summer.
We have specifically designed this play structure to comply with the national playground safety guidelines and meet current ADA compliances. Enjoy!
