July Volunteer of the Month: Elizabeth Gregg, IHCA Architectural Review Committee

By August 2, 2023September 6th, 2023General, Volunteer

Congratulations and thank you to Daphne Park resident Elizabeth Gregg for being recognized at July’s Volunteer of the Month! She is always looking for opportunities to lend a helping hand. Most recently, she helped to photograph the cover shot in summer 2023 Connections.

She said the following about her time volunteering in Issaquah Highlands:

“I have been fortunate to call Issaquah Highlands home for over 14 years. My family always talks about how lucky we are to live somewhere with such beautiful parks, amenities and a great sense of community. And goats!

I’ve had the joy of dressing up as the Highlands Day mascot prior to the pandemic. I served as vice president on the IHCA Board of Directors, and I am currently on my fourth year serving as the chair of IHCA’s Architectural Review Committee (ARC).

The ARC committee helps to ensure our community maintains aesthetic and functional standards. The committee consists of Issaquah Highlands homeowners who are responsible for reviewing and enforcing the architectural guidelines for the community. We strive to work closely with homeowners to address concerns and make updates to community standards, as needed.

This committee is just one example of how neighbors are helping to ensure we all continue to live in a beautiful community. The ARC is always looking for volunteers if you would like to get involved!

I will also be starting my second year of being the communications director for the Grand Ridge PTSA, where my daughter Lauren will enter first grade in the fall.”
